Executive Summary: A scaffolding professional with 10+ years’ experience and CIRS qualification, specialising in the management and delivery of safe, compliant scaffolding and access solutions. Fully aware of NASC TG20:22 (scaffold design and compliance) and SG4:22 (preventing falls in scaffolding operations), with a strong record of delivering projects in highly regulated environments such as energy, utilities, and infrastructure. Highly customer-focused, with proven ability to deliver exceptional service in the domestic market. Ideally NEBOSH qualified (IOSH as minimum), combining operational expertise with senior leadership and commercial management skills. Key Competencies: * Leadership & Strategy – Over a decade of scaffolding experience, leading teams and operations. * Health & Safety – Strong knowledge of TG20:22, SG4:22, CDM 2015, and working at height regulations. * Customer Focus – Dedicated to delivering outstanding service and building long-term client trust, particularly in the domestic market. * Contract Delivery – Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget. * Commercial Management – Experienced in P&L oversight, cost control, and client quotations. Full Candidate Profile: A scaffolding professional with over 10 years’ industry experience and CIRS qualification, with strong operational and managerial expertise. Fully aware of, and compliant with, NASC TG20:22 guidelines for scaffold design and compliance, alongside a solid awareness and understanding of NASC SG4:22 for fall prevention in scaffolding operations. Highly customer-focused, with extensive experience managing access solutions for domestic clients. Ideally NEBOSH qualified (with IOSH Managing Safely as a minimum), bringing a strong safety culture to every project. Experienced in delivering safe, efficient, and customer-friendly scaffolding and access services in both domestic and regulated environments. Key Strengths: * Extensive Industry Experience – Over a decade working across scaffolding and access, with hands-on operational knowledge and senior management capability. * Health & Safety Leadership – Strong understanding of UK legislation, NASC TG20:22, SG4:22, CDM 2015, and working at height regulations. * Customer Service Focus – Skilled at managing domestic customer relationships with professionalism and empathy, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. * Contract Delivery – Skilled in managing client relationships, overseeing KPIs, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. * Leadership & People Development – Proven track record in leading and motivating site managers, supervisors, and operatives, with a focus on training, competence, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Training: * CIRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) – Qualified * NEBOSH General Certificate (preferred) or IOSH Managing Safely (minimum) * Awareness and understanding of NASC TG20:22 (Scaffold compliance) * Awareness and understanding of NASC SG4:22 (Preventing falls in scaffolding operations) * CISRS Supervisor / Advanced Scaffolder / Manager Card * Full UK Driving Licence Career Highlights: * Successfully managed scaffolding operations for a wide range of domestic customers, delivering safe and efficient access solutions. * Experience working in high-risk, regulated environments such as oil & gas, renewables. * Consistently achieved excellent safety records, with zero RIDDOR incidents under management. * Supported growth of scaffolding division through excellent customer service, repeat business, and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Job Specification: We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead the delivery of scaffolding and access services, primarily within the domestic market. This role requires operational expertise, safety leadership, and commercial management, combined with a highly customer-focused approach. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and deliver exceptional service to domestic clients who rely on safe, reliable, and efficient access solutions for their homes. Key Responsibilities * Act as the face of the business, ensuring every customer receives outstanding service from enquiry to completion. * Handle domestic customer queries, quotations, and feedback with professionalism and empathy. * Oversee scaffolding operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery in line with TG20:22 and SG4:22. * Ensure compliance with all UK health, safety, and working at height regulations. * Manage budgets, quotations, and cost control to ensure profitability while remaining competitive. * Lead and develop operatives and supervisors, ensuring a customer-driven, safety-first culture.
