We’re a growing design and build company in South East London, seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our workshop and production teams. Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day leadership to workshop and production staff.
* Work closely with project managers to plan and coordinate production activities.
* Support design teams in moving concepts seamlessly into production.
* Manage resources, scheduling, and workshop space to ensure smooth workflow and safety.
* Oversee subcontractor resourcing and assist the HR Manager with recruitment and onboarding.
* Monitor budgets, attend weekly cost meetings, and track departmental spend.
* Drive continuous improvement across processes and production methods.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride in maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient workplace.
* Champion Health & Safety best practices at all times.
About You
* Proven experience in a production management role, ideally within scenic, set build, or immersive environments.
* A practical maker at heart, with hands-on knowledge of workshop processes.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and planning skills.
* A confident communicator who collaborates effectively across teams.
