Interaction Education are delighted to be working on the below role on behalf of one of our partner schools based in Romford.
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Attendance Administrator to join our partner schools office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student attendance, ensuring accurate data collection, and promoting good attendance across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor daily attendance and maintain accurate attendance records using the school’s MIS system
Follow up on unexplained absences and liaise with parents/carers
Prepare and distribute attendance reports for SLT and external agencies
Support safeguarding procedures by flagging attendance concerns promptly
Assist with administrative tasks as required by the school office team
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school or administrative setting preferred
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS/Arbor)
A clear DBS check is required
