School-Based Youth Worker | King's Lynn
Simply Education is seeking a committed and compassionate School-Based Youth Worker to join a supportive secondary school in King's Lynn. The Role:
The successful candidate will provide individual and group support to students aged 11-18, focusing on improving wellbeing, engagement, and behaviour. Working collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, and external agencies, you will contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment that promotes success for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide structured mentoring and emotional support to pupils
Implement targeted interventions to promote positive behaviour and resilience
Support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
Work collaboratively with staff to ensure consistent pastoral support
Maintain accurate records and contribute to safeguarding practices
Build effective relationships with parents, carers, and partner agenciesPerson Specification:
Experience supporting young people in an educational or youth work capacity
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
A compassionate, patient, and solution-focused approach
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Youth Work, Education, or Counselling) are advantageous but not essential
