Job Title: School Bursar - Primary School (Morecambe)
Location: Morecambe, Lancashire
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Veritas Education is currently seeking a School Bursar to join a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Morecambe. This is a full-time, term-time only position, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the school
Manage budgets, invoices, and payroll in line with school policies
Liaise with senior leadership and external agencies on financial matters
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
Support administrative functions as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school bursar or finance-related role
Strong understanding of school finance systems and procedures
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
