School Business Manager – SEN School
Location: South East London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent or Contract | 4–5 days per week
We are currently recruiting a School Business Manager on behalf of a highly respected SEN school in South East London. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a senior role and make a real impact on the running of a specialist education setting.
As the School Business Manager, you will be a vital member of the senior leadership team, leading on finance, HR, premises, and administration. You will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school while supporting long-term strategic planning and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Lead on HR processes, recruitment, and staff management.
* Manage premises, facilities, and health & safety compliance.
* Support strategic planning alongside the Headteacher and governors.
* Line manage support staff and ensure efficient delivery of services.
We are looking for a School Business Manager who is highly organised, financially astute, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in education, ideally in an SEN school, is desirable but not essential.
This role offers flexibility, with the option of working 4 or 5 days per week, and can be offered on either a permanent or contract basis.
