School Caretaker - Full-Time (Croydon, Secondary Schools)

About the Role
As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the school premises, facilities, and grounds are safe, clean, and well presented
Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks
Overseeing site security, including opening and locking up the school
Supporting with deliveries, furniture moves, and setting up rooms for school events
Working closely with school staff to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment
What We're Looking For
Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
Practical skills in basic plumbing, painting, or carpentry
A reliable, hands-on approach and strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
