About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Temporary School Caretaker to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the school premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the school site.
Ensure the building and grounds are secure, including opening and locking up the premises.
Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and other facilities.
Support with health and safety compliance and emergency procedures.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers when required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role (school experience desirable).
Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Good communication skills and a flexible approach.
