School Caretaker Wanted - Full-Time | Sheffield | August Start

Are you a reliable and proactive individual with experience in site maintenance or as a School Caretaker? Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming school in Sheffield to recruit a dedicated School Caretaker to start in August.
Position Details:
Role: School Caretaker (Key Holder Responsibilities)
Start Date: August 2025
Location: Sheffield
Hours:
School Holidays: 8:00am - 3:00pm
Term Time (from September): 7:30am - 2:30pm
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school site daily
Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and site upkeep
Ensuring a safe, clean, and secure environment for pupils and staff
Liaising with contractors and reporting any health & safety issues
Supporting with deliveries and site access when needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a caretaking or site management role (school experience preferred)
Trustworthy, punctual, and capable of working independently
Good communication and organisational skills
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
Ability to start from August and commit to full-time hours
