School Caretaker - Full-Time - North Sheffield
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a reliable and skilled full-time School Caretaker to join our supply team, supporting a variety of primary schools across North Sheffield.
Are you a hands-on professional with experience in caretaking or site maintenance? Are you looking for a consistent, full-time role where you can make a real difference in school communities? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
We're looking for committed School Caretakers to take on full-time placements, ensuring school sites remain safe, secure, and well-maintained for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing school buildings each day
Performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and safety checks
Keeping school grounds clean, tidy, and presentable
Supporting the implementation of health and safety protocols, including fire and security systems
Managing deliveries, moving furniture, and assisting contractors as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a caretaking, site management, or maintenance role
Good practical skills and a positive, proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and follow school procedures
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Tradewind)
