School Caretaker - Primary School, Sheffield
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 12:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in site maintenance, caretaking, or a similar role to play a vital part in the day-to-day running of a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and well maintained
Carrying out basic repairs and general maintenance
Overseeing cleaning standards and site presentation
Managing site security, including locking/unlocking the school
Supporting the smooth running of school facilities
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous caretaking, facilities, or maintenance experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
Strong practical skills and a proactive approach
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to health & safety standards
An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
