GI Group are now seeking experienced Cleaners with an Enhanced DBS certificate to cover temporary roles for our Public Sector client.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cleaning, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Main duties of the cleaner:
* Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, classrooms and public spaces.
* Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and waste disposal.
* Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
* Adhere to company policies and health and safety guidelines.
* Ensure confidentiality and security when working in sensitive environments.
Role requirements:
* Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
* Enhanced DBS certificate (essential).
* Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
* Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
