Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a welcoming Secondary School in Salford who are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Assistant to join their site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, ensuring that pupils, staff, and visitors enjoy a safe, clean and hygienic setting.
The Role
As a Cleaning Assistant, you will play an important part in the daily upkeep of the school. Your duties will include:
Carrying out routine cleaning tasks across classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas
Maintaining high standards of hygiene in toilets, dining areas and specialist rooms
Ensuring cleaning equipment and products are used safely and stored securely
Following health and safety and safeguarding procedures at all times
Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the site manager
The School Are Looking For
Someone reliable, punctual and hardworking with great attention to detail
A team player who can also work independently when required
Previous cleaning or facilities experience is desirable but not essential
A commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff
