Job Description

Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Out of Hours Club Manager and Trust Lead to join a multi-academy trust in the West Yorkshire region on an initial temporary assignment, with view for this to become a permanent post. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to lead and develop high-quality out-of-hours school provisions, including breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, and holiday clubs, across the Trust. The incoming candidate will be responsible for leading out-of-school activities that enrich children’s development and school experience. You will manage staff, oversee children’s participation, ensure compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards, and collaborate with academies within the Trust to deliver engaging, inclusive, and safe childcare provision. Main Duties: * Plan and deliver a wide range of stimulating activities to support children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development * Ensure the club is appropriately resourced, including food provision, and manage budgets effectively * Lead, supervise, and develop staff teams to ensure high-quality childcare provision * Oversee safeguarding, health & safety, child protection, and OFSTED compliance * Build strong and professional relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies * Support the financial management of provisions, including fee collection and records * Lead the coordination of out-of-hours provisions across the Trust, identifying opportunities for development and growth * Work with finance and business managers to ensure provisions are sustainable and compliant Essential Criteria: The successful applicant will be an effective communicator and natural leader, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. You should be confident, approachable, and highly organised, with a strong commitment to child development and safeguarding. Essential requirements include: * Previous experience managing childcare or playwork provisions in an education setting * Strong leadership and team management skills * Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills * Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and child development across primary ages * Valid UK driving licence and able to travel across Trust schools Desirable qualities include: * Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification * Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain) * Experience of budget management and Trust-wide childcare leadership * Strategic thinker, with a drive for innovation and improvement If your skills match the above criteria, please apply with your up-to-date CV
