🎓 About the Role
We are looking for a Level 6 qualified Careers Adviser to deliver impartial, high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) to students across schools in Doncaster, starting in September 2025. This role involves on-site delivery only and will suit someone proactive, student-focused, and motivated to help young people make informed choices about their futures.
This is a term-time only position, delivering 40 days across the academic year, offering excellent flexibility and a chance to positively influence students' educational and employment outcomes.

✅ Key Responsibilities
• Deliver 1:1 careers guidance and group sessions with students aged 11–18, including those with SEND and from vulnerable groups.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s careers programme in line with the Gatsby Benchmarks.
• Keep CEIAG resources and Google Classrooms updated with Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant tools.
• Organise and support careers-related events, including talks, fairs, and mock interviews.
• Build strong relationships with school staff, parents/carers, and external partners.
• Monitor and evaluate guidance delivery, ensuring outcomes are logged and compliant with contractual requirements.
• Provide support for learners at key transition points, including GCSE and post-16 options.

🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of post-16 pathways, LMI, and the CEIAG landscape.
• Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or college environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a student-centred approach.
• Ability to engage with diverse learners, including those with SEND or facing disadvantage.
• Organised, independent, and adaptable, with strong administrative capability.
• Committed to safeguarding, diversity, and young people’s rights.
