School Data & Examinations Manager
Hours: (Apply online only)hrs, Mon to Fri
here at Blue Skies education Recruitmente are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data & Examinations Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of examinations and data across a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient collection, analysis and use of high-quality data to support student progress and outcomes.
The Role
As Data & Examinations Manager, you will:
*
Lead the planning, administration, and delivery of all internal and external examinations.
*
Be the principal point of contact with examination boards and external agencies.
*
Manage, analyse, and quality assure student data, including census returns and attainment tracking.
*
Oversee and develop the use of the SIMS information management system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective staff training.
*
Provide timely, accurate reports to inform teaching, learning, and school improvement strategies.
*
Line manage the Deputy Data & Exams Manager and a team of invigilators, ensuring training and development opportunities are in place.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
*
Educated to degree level or has equivalent relevant experience.
*
Experienced in managing examinations and data in a complex organisation (ideally in education).
*
A confident leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
Technically competent with SIMS and data management systems.
*
Able to work flexibly and resiliently under pressure, with a sharp eye for detail.
*
Committed to safeguarding, confidentiality, and the values of integrity and professionalism.
