School Data & MIS Officer – Secondary School (West London)
Location: West London
Contract Type: Temp to Perm, Term Time Only + 1 Week Inset + 3 Weeks Holiday Working
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: Equivalent to £35,161 – £38,782 FTE (£32,771 – £36,146 actual)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Interviews: Conducted on a rolling basis
About the Role
anzuk Education is supporting a large, high-performing secondary school in West London to recruit a skilled and motivated School Data & MIS Officer for a temp-to-perm position.
This is a key role within the school’s administrative and data team, responsible for managing and maintaining the school’s Management Information System (MIS) and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and effective use of data across all departments. You will play a vital role in supporting decision-making, improving outcomes, and enabling the school to operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the school’s MIS (e.g. Arbor, SIMS, or Bromcom), ensuring data accuracy and compliance
*
Produce and analyse student performance, attendance, and behaviour reports
*
Support assessment tracking, target setting, and internal reporting processes
*
Coordinate statutory returns including School Census and DfE submissions
*
Provide staff training and guidance on data systems and reporting tools
*
Assist with timetabling, curriculum data, and student enrolment
*
Ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection best practices
About You
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working in a school or education data environment
*
Strong knowledge of MIS platforms (Arbor, SIMS, or Bromcom)
*
Excellent data analysis and reporting skills (proficient in Excel or Google Sheets)
*
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
*
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
*
A good understanding of GDPR and data confidentiality principles
