Progress Into Clinical or Teaching Roles This Stevenage role is more than support - it's a stepping stone into long-term careers in: Clinical Psychology, Therapy or Mental Health Practice Teaching & Educational Support Roles (with pathways to QTS or HLTA) Education and Training Youth Work, Social Care or Behaviour Intervention Roles As a School Mental Health Teaching Assistant, You Will: Work closely with pupils who require social, emotional, and behavioural support. Implement strategies to help pupils regulate behaviour and build resilience. Collaborate with on-site clinicians, therapists, and teachers to develop holistic support plans. Provide 1:1 and group interventions tailored to individual EHCPs. Contribute to a trauma-informed, nurturing learning environment.
