Job Description
Are you a reliable and responsible driver looking for a part-time role to fit around your schedule? We are seeking a friendly and safety-conscious School Minibus Driver to join our team for a September 2025 start. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a consistent Monday to Friday schedule during term-time.
You will be responsible for the safe and punctual morning and evening transport of our pupils, ensuring they have a positive start and end to their school day.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport pupils on a set route for morning and evening school runs.
Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the minibus is roadworthy and clean.
Maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel usage.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils at all times, adhering to all safeguarding and school policies.
Liaise professionally with students, parents, and school staff.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a calm, patient, and highly dependable individual with a passion for working with children.
Essential Requirements:
A full, clean UK driving license with the D1 entitlement (minibus license).
A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
Proven experience driving a minibus or other large vehicle.
A strong commitment to child safety and a clean driving record.
Excellent time management and punctuality.
Desirable (but training can be provided):
A MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) certificate.
First Aid qualification.
