Job Description
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a multi form entry primary school in Alum Rock who are looking for a full time School Nurse to start with them in September.
The school are a welcoming school who motivates and inspires their pupils to have high expectations, to embrace their unique individuality and celebrate diversity in a safe environment. Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.45pm to start in September 2025 for the full academic year. The pay is pro rata term time only.
It is essential that you hold a Nursing degree and can provide your pin OR previous experience in a similar medical role with a First Aid qualification .
Successful Candidates Will
* Promote healthy living where appropriate and deliver workshops.
* Provide training to teachers on healthcare issues and advise on school health policies.
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children by working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Safeguarding Leads and Social Services in cases of child protection.
* Liaise with the SEND to write Educational Health Care Plans (EHC).
* Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team.
* Support children with medical needs such as, but not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or mental health problems.
