School Receptionist / Administrator (Immediate Start) - MUST have school SIMS / School Admin Experience Location: Solihull Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only Start Date: Immediate Start Required We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly and supportive office team at a lovely school in Solihull. This is a vital role at the heart of our school, and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Key Requirements: ✅ MUST have recent experience using SIMS (School Information Management System) ✅ Proven experience in a school office or educational environment ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✅ Strong organisational and administrative abilities ✅ Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems ✅ Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure ✅ A warm, welcoming and professional manner when dealing with pupils, parents and visitors Main Duties: Front-of-house reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing queries Maintaining and updating pupil records on SIMS Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting General administrative tasks including filing, data entry, post, and managing emails Supporting staff and leadership team with day-to-day office tasks Ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed at all times What We Offer: A welcoming and supportive team environment A school that values every member of staff An opportunity to make a real impact in a busy school setting Ongoing support and training where required This role requires an enhanced DBS check and reference clearance before starting.
