Full-Time Science Technician – Stafford Secondary School
Location: Stafford
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-Time, Term-Time Only (8am till 4pm)

A well-regarded secondary school in Stafford is seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join their science department on a full-time basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where your skills and enthusiasm can directly contribute to student learning and success.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing, setting up and maintaining equipment for science lessons (Biology, Chemistry & Physics)
* Assisting teaching staff during practical science lessons
* Managing and organising stock, materials and resources
* Ensuring health & safety protocols are followed in the prep room and labs
* Supporting with the safe disposal of chemicals and biological waste
The ideal candidate will have:
* Recent experience working in a laboratory or school science setting (preferred)
* A science-related qualification
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and collaborative attitude
* Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a lab environment
