Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and resilient Support Staff to work within Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) schools across Bolton and Wigan. This is a full-time role supporting children and young people aged 5–19.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs and who can provide consistent, compassionate support in an educational setting.
The Role:
Supporting pupils aged 5–19 with SEN and SEMH needs
Working either 1:1 or with small groups of students
Assisting with both educational and emotional development
Supporting pupils with behavioural needs in a structured environment
Providing personal care where required
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH needs
Comfortable providing personal care
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
Full-time availability
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
