Science Department
You will join a vibrant Science faculty equipped with up-to-date laboratories, digital tools, and cutting-edge resources. The department delivers a hands-on, enquiry-based curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity, digital literacy, and scientific reasoning.
Your Role
Teach general Science at KS3 and specialise in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS4; plan and deliver highly engaging lessons; use varied assessment strategies to support learning; and nurture analytical and critical thinking. You’ll also run science clubs, field visits, and STEM-related events, while benefiting from a formal ECT support network—including weekly mentoring, staffing coaching sessions, and group reflection workshops.
Ideal Candidate
You will hold a Science degree and be on track to achieve QTS by July 2025. Your approach is enthusiastic, reflective, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a love for practical science. You collaborate well, embrace mentorship, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
