Science Department
You’ll join a vibrant and well-established Science department equipped with modern laboratories, interactive whiteboards, and full technical support. The curriculum blends practical enquiry with real-world contexts, enabling meaningful and engaging learning experiences across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Core Responsibilities
As a Science ECT, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering stimulating Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and your specialise at Key Stage 4 (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
*
Differentiating content to meet the needs of all learners and providing constructive, timely feedback
*
Assisting with curriculum planning, lab-based activities, and assessment preparation
*
Leading or supporting extracurricular initiatives—STEM clubs, fairs, expeditions, or guest speaker events
*
Participating fully in the ECT development programme: mentoring, peer observations, and targeted CPD workshops
*
Collaborating with pastoral teams to ensure students’ academic and personal growth

You will possess:

A Science degree and be on track to gain QTS by July 2025
