Salary: MPS1 (ECT Scale)
Science ECT required from September 2025 to join a thriving department in a well-respected secondary school in Southampton.
Excellent ECT support and CPD provision.
Opportunity to teach general Science at KS3 and a specialism at KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
An oversubscribed and academically successful school in Southampton is looking to appoint a passionate Science ECT for a full-time role starting in September. You will be part of a large and collaborative department with a strong record of ECT development and high-quality results at GCSE and A-Level.
Experience and Qualifications

A degree in a Science discipline
*
PGCE/SCITT with QTS awarded by July 2025
*
Confidence in teaching Science across KS3 and your specialism at KS4
*
A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning
*
Legal right to work in the UK
