Are you a recent Science graduate with a passion for education and a desire to support students in a dynamic secondary school environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Wembley that is seeking a dedicated Science Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time, long-term role working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the potential to become permanent.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates with a background in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics who are keen to inspire the next generation of scientists while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom.
About the Role:
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students in Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially A-Level.
Work closely with the Science teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups who need help with understanding scientific concepts.
Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources.
Help maintain a safe and organised learning environment.
Support practical experiments, ensuring students follow health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For:
A recent Science graduate (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or a related field).
A strong interest in education and supporting young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, positive, and patient approach.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
