The role

As a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, working closely with class teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. This role is ideal for a graduate who is serious about becoming a teacher and wants meaningful hands on experience in a secondary school setting ahead of teacher training.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils in Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Delivering small group interventions and one to one support
• Helping teachers prepare resources and practical activities
• Encouraging pupils to stay engaged, curious and confident in Science
• Building positive relationships with students and becoming a reliable presence in the classroom
• Gaining valuable experience within a supportive and well established secondary school environment
