About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Chorley on a long-term cover basis. This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, offering an excellent opportunity to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute to their learning in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or experience in teaching and cover work
*
Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (or confident delivering lessons across these levels)

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
*
Flexible and adaptable approach to meet students’ needs
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons
*
Support pupils’ learning and progress across all abilities
*
Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and resources
*
Maintain high standards of behaviour and motivation in the classroom
*
Participate in departmental and whole-school activities
