Job Description
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Dewsbury to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students' learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and school events as required
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics (or general Science)
Strong classroom management skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through Veritas)
