Job Description

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of SEND schools and provisions across Chesterfield, offering supportive and inclusive environments tailored to meet the needs of students with additional learning requirements. These settings focus on creating nurturing spaces where every student is supported to achieve their full potential.

We are looking to recruit a SEND Teacher for both short term and long term roles, starting in September. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with students across various age groups with needs such as ASD, ADHD and SEMH, delivering tailored lessons and providing consistent support to help students engage and progress.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• At least 6 months experience working in UK schools
• Experience supporting students with SEND such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
