Science Teacher – Secondary School | September Start | Full-Time
Are you a passionate Science Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of learners?
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the Braintree area is seeking a Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking for your first role, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach motivated students and be part of a supportive and forward-thinking department.

Subject: General Science (specialisms in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £130 - £250 per day
The Role:
Teach engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
Plan, deliver, and assess in line with the curriculum and exam requirements
Encourage practical learning, experimentation, and scientific curiosity
Support students of all abilities, adapting lessons to meet diverse needs
Work closely with a collaborative Science department and contribute to extracurricular enrichment
Who We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
A commitment to raising standards and inspiring young people
ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply – full support and mentoring provided
