Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Science Teacher for a Secondary School in Bedford! Position: Teacher of Science Salary: M1 - M6, UPS 1 -3 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join our dynamic Science Department. The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for inspiring students and a drive to become an expert in their field. There is the possibility of a TLR for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across all key stages. Collaborate effectively within a vibrant department. Share innovative ideas during staff meetings. Set ambitious goals that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds, abilities, and dispositions. Assess students' prior knowledge and plan teaching to build upon these foundations. Encourage students to take responsibility for their own work and study. Ideal Candidate Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong educational background, including a good Honours Degree or equivalent. Demonstrates experience in both curricular and pastoral responsibilities. Understands and is committed to teaching standards. Maintains high personal standards in terms of attendance, punctuality, and workload organisation. Exhibits excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities. Approaches work with a positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude. Shows a willingness to undergo further training and development.
