We're seeking a dedicated and empathetic Teacher of Science to join us in September 2025, someone who is not only passionate about their subject but also deeply invested in the intellectual development, analytical reasoning, and scientific curiosity of our students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, with the potential for a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR).
As a valued member of our team, commencing in September 2025, with a significant contribution to A-Level teaching, you will:
* Nurture Scientific Confidence: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to explore the fascinating world of science across all key stages.
* Collaborate & Lead: Work alongside a team of passionate and experienced Science educators, and with the potential TLR, take on specific responsibilities to enhance teaching and learning, pastoral care, or a key area of departmental operation.
* Contribute to a Positive Ethos: Embrace our school's inclusive and collaborative culture, where every member of staff is valued, and their contributions to the intellectual and pastoral life of the school are recognised within the Cambridge academic community.
* Make a Real Difference: Have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and guide them on their journey to becoming confident problem-solvers and scientifically literate individuals, particularly as they progress through their A-Level studies.
