In this crucial full-time role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5 (A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics), you will: * Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring exceptional student outcomes in GCSE and particularly A-Level Sciences, equipping them with the sophisticated analytical, mathematical, and practical skills required for top university placements. * Shape Curriculum & Pedagogy (TLR Focus): With the potential TLR, you could be responsible for refining the KS5 curriculum, implementing innovative teaching strategies, or mentoring less experienced staff, driving academic standards. * Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Lessons: Utilise your expertise to deliver meticulously structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the Science curricula at all key stages, fostering deep understanding of complex theories and contemporary scientific applications. * Motivate and Support High Achievers: Work with exceptionally bright and engaged students, including those aspiring to Oxbridge and Russell Group universities, providing the necessary extension and support to enable them to excel. * Contribute to a Strong & Progressive Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of high-quality A-Level Science programmes. * Champion STEM Pathways: Inspire students to pursue further studies and careers in STEM fields, leveraging Cambridge's world-leading academic and research environment.
