Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and innovative Science Teacher to deliver inspiring lessons across the Sciences-Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will motivate students to reach high academic standards, nurture scientific curiosity, and contribute to the school's successful Sixth Form provision.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, teach and assess engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5.
Promote deep understanding, critical thinking and active participation in practical investigations.
Contribute fully to the school's collaborative department team-sharing good practice and supporting colleagues.
Support excellent behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
Engage with parents/carers through reports and meetings to support student progress and attainment.The Right Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with expertise in science education.
Ability to inspire and challenge pupils across ability ranges, including in A‑level science.
Strong classroom management skills and commitment to safeguarding.
Excellent communication and collaboration, working effectively within a forward‑thinking department.
