Are you a passionate and inspiring Science Teacher eager to ignite curiosity and a love for discovery in young minds?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with several welcoming secondary schools across the Northampton area who are looking for Science Teachers to join their dynamic science departments from September 2025. These long-term roles are ideal for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs ready to bring energy, clarity, and commitment to the classroom.
You'll be delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop their understanding of the world and build essential analytical and investigative skills.
What you'll be doing:
Planning and delivering interactive and inclusive Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Supporting students in developing their knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment
Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting your teaching to meet diverse needs
Contributing to STEM clubs, science fairs, and enrichment opportunities
You'll be a great fit if you:
Hold UK QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science)
Have recent experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools
Are passionate about science education and committed to student success
Possess strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
Enjoy working collaboratively within a committed and innovative team
