Your Contribution to Our Team As a Teacher of Science, you will: * Plan and deliver stimulating Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE), with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 (A-Level) in your area of specialism. * Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of scientific principles and foster strong practical skills. * Implement diverse teaching methodologies that cater to different learning styles, promoting an investigative and analytical approach. * Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to academic reports. * Actively contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources. * Engage in and lead extracurricular science activities, enriching students' overall experience. * Contribute positively to the wider school community, including acting as a form tutor for full-time roles. What We're Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). * Proven experience teaching Science successfully across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is essential, with A-Level experience being highly desirable. * A genuine passion for science and a commitment to inspiring young minds. * Excellent subject knowledge across the science curriculum, with the ability to teach all three sciences effectively at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. * A dynamic, adaptable, and innovative teaching style. * Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, engaging, and productive learning environment. * A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
