We are seeking an experienced and qualified Science Teacher to join our dedicated team at a specialist Alternative Provision catering to secondary-aged pupils. This is a full-time role starting in September, ideal for someone with a strong understanding of how to engage and support students with additional needs and challenging behaviours.
About the Role:
You will:
Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, assess and differentiate learning to meet the varied needs of our students.
Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team to promote both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.
About You:
A qualified Science Teacher (QTS/QTLS required).
Experience working in an Alternative Provision or similar setting is essential.
Skilled in managing behaviour and building trust with students who may have faced barriers to education.
Calm, compassionate, and committed to helping every learner succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
