Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists? A Good-rated school in Islington is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join their team this January. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT, we’re looking for someone with excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons across KS3 to KS4.
* Inspire a love for science, fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students.
* Maintain excellent classroom management, creating a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
* Use innovative teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
* Contribute to the Science department by participating in planning and curriculum development.
* Uphold the school’s high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and inclusivity.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success.
What We’re Looking For:
* UK Right to Work (essential).
* A degree in Science and a PGCE/QTS (or on track to obtain QTS for ECTs).
* Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
* Passion for teaching Science and a commitment to student development.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A collaborative approach, working effectively within a supportive team.
