Science Teacher
Sheffield, S2
£183.00 - £260.00 per day (SEN allowance included)
Start date: September 2025
Contract type: Temp - perm following 12 weeks successful temporary placement
Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only
Unique School Solutions are supporting a school in Sheffield, who require a Science teacher from September 2025. This role will see you plan and deliver a bespoke curriculum, designed to identify and fill in gaps in fundamental subject knowledge. You will be working with students who have mixed experiences and attitudes to education, students who are vulnerable and disengaged, and may have special educational needs. The school are looking for a teacher who can not only teach in a creative and unique way, but has the patience to provide considerable guidance and assistance to pupils to manage their behaviour and feelings. The role is to start in September 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks.

Essential requirements for the role:
* Qualified Teacher Status and PGCE in Science
* Previous experience working within a Pupil Referral Unit or Young Offenders Institute would be beneficial
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, preferably BESD
* The ability to build rapport and trust with young learners
* The ability to manage a team of Teaching Assistants
