Job Description
We are looking for a Science Teacher to join a high-performing and inclusive secondary school based in Reading.

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will be joining a large and collaborative Science department that includes specialists in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The department is well-equipped, enjoys strong leadership, and is supported by a full team of laboratory technicians.
The school is looking for an individual who can foster curiosity and a love of science in students of all abilities. You will be expected to contribute to curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and departmental improvement initiatives, while also playing a role in science enrichment through STEM clubs, competitions, or science week events.
Experience and Qualifications
• Science Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
• Able to teach combined science at KS3 and KS4
• A-Level experience in Biology, Chemistry or Physics is desirable
• Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
• Enthusiastic, reflective and a team player
• Legal right to work in the UK
