What You’ll Be Doing
As a Science Teacher, whether you're an ECT or an experienced Science Teacher, your role will involve:

Teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students develop both an understanding of the subject and a passion for learning.

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated Science lessons tailored to a wide range of abilities and learning styles.

Leading practical experiments that demonstrate how Science concepts apply to the real world, sparking curiosity in students.

Using data to assess and track student progress, ensuring Science attainment is raised and students are continually challenged.

Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the Science curriculum to keep it innovative and engaging.

Supporting extra-curricular activities, such as science clubs and student-led projects, to help students extend their interest in Science beyond the classroom.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Science Teacher who:
*
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Science or a closely related subject.
*
Has experience teaching Science to students aged 11–16, whether as an ECT or an experienced Science Teacher.
*
Is skilled in planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Science lessons that inspire students and develop their love for the subject.

Has a proactive and reflective approach to professional development and is committed to growing as a Science Teacher.
*
Is enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential in Science and beyond.
*
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to the ethos and community of the school.
