Do you have the enthusiasm and expertise to deliver high-quality science education?
GSL Education are currently seeking an engaging and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a dynamic school inGateshead.
You will be responsible for delivering inspiring lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics, adapting your teaching to meet the varying needs of pupils. This role provides a platform for you to combine academic rigour with creativity to ignite students' curiosity and passion for science.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Teach exciting and engaging Science lessons to students in any Key Stages.
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed.
Maintain excellent behaviour and classroom management standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to drive departmental improvement.
Contribute to the wider school ethos and extracurricular science activities.
What We’re Looking For:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
A degree in a Science-related subject.
Proven experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
A commitment to safeguarding and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
