Your Role as an Experienced Science Teacher
As a key member of the science department, your responsibilities will include:

Teaching general Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential for a specialism at Key Stage 5
*
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and engage students
*
Supporting and mentoring less experienced staff or trainees, sharing your expertise as a seasoned Science Teacher
*
Contributing to the development and refinement of the science curriculum at all key stages
*
Taking an active role in the school’s wider academic life, including leading or supporting science-related extracurricular activities
*
Using assessment and data to support student progress and ensure high levels of achievement in Science
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher who:

Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the option to teach a specialism at Key Stage 5
*
Has a deep understanding of their subject area and the ability to engage and inspire students
*
Is committed to delivering outstanding lessons and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
*
Has excellent classroom management skills and a track record of raising achievement in Science
*
Is willing to share best practices and contribute to the development of the science department
*
Is committed to their own professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest teaching strategies and curriculum changes
