Your Role as a Science Teacher
As a Science Teacher, you will:
• Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility to teach KS5 if you have experience and interest in A-Level teaching.
• Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
• Lead practical experiments and encourage students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world situations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the Science curriculum is dynamic, current, and inclusive.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, competitions, and educational trips, to enhance students’ learning experiences.
• For experienced teachers, there may be opportunities to take on mentoring or leadership roles within the department.
