Job Description
We are looking for a Science Teacher to work within a well-respected and high-performing school based in Bath, Somerset.
• Science Teacher required from September to work on a full-time, permanent basis
• Popular and oversubscribed secondary school in the Bath area
• Excellent Science Teacher to join a collaborative and forward-thinking department
We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to teach General Science at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to specialise in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics at KS4 and KS5. The ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire students, deliver engaging lessons, and encourage academic curiosity.
This is a full-time position in a school that consistently delivers strong results and values innovation in teaching and learning. The department is well-resourced, with modern laboratories, experienced support staff, and regular enrichment activities including science fairs and STEM partnerships.
Experience and Qualifications
• Science Teacher with QTS (PGCE or equivalent)
• Ability to teach General Science at KS3/4, with specialism at KS4/5
• A track record of strong classroom practice and student progress
• Commitment to inclusive education and academic excellence
• Legal right to work in the UK
