Job Description
We are looking for a Science Teacher to work within a large and successful school in Reading, Berkshire.
Science Teacher required from September 2025 on a permanent basis
Strong departmental support and new science laboratories
Teaching across KS3 and KS4 with the potential for KS5
We are seeking a Science Teacher to become part of a committed and aspirational department within one of the top secondary schools in the area. You will deliver Science across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to specialise in either Biology, Chemistry, or Physics depending on your background and interests.
The department benefits from brand-new science labs, a team of dedicated technicians, and a well-organised scheme of work designed to support consistent progress. Staff work closely together to share resources and maintain the department’s tradition of excellent results at both GCSE and A-Level.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Science Teacher with QTS (PGCE, SCITT, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching at least one Science discipline up to GCSE
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
• Passion for practical science and discovery-led learning
• Legal right to work in the UK
