About the Science Teacher Role:
ANZUK Education is delighted to be working with brilliant Catholic School to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025.
The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 to 5, with a specialism in Physics highly desirable. You’ll be joining a thriving and supportive department in a school renowned for its academic excellence, inclusive values, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons, with a focus on Physics.
* Teach across KS3–KS5, including preparation for GCSE and A-level examinations.
* Assess and monitor student progress to ensure academic success.
* Contribute to the Science department’s curriculum development and extracurricular provision.
* Uphold the school's high expectations for behaviour and learning.
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* A degree in a Science-related subject.
* Experience teaching secondary Science in the UK or an equivalent setting.
* A strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.
* A passion for Physics and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
Desirable:
* A Physics specialism at degree level or higher.
* Experience teaching A-level Physics.
