About the role
Science Teacher KS3/4
Location – Camborne
Contract Type – Full Time, Temporary (35 hours)
Working Hours – Monday – Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm)
Starting – 5th January 2026
Ending – 3rd April 2026
Salary - £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a calm and structured support network for students
- Plan and deliver lessons to KS3 & KS4 science classes
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Contribute to the science department as a whole
What we’re looking for
- QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills, dealing with students and other staff members
- Subject specialism in science
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
